“I am having an electrician put in a plug. Does the cable on the oven have 3 or 4 prongs ?”

My oven didnt have a plug it is hard wired.

Hi Georgia- All electric wall ovens must be hard-wired (direct-wired) into an approved junction box. A plug and receptacle is not permitted on these products (3 power leads). Ovens come equipped with a 40” or 54” long conduit (armored flex cable) to "hard wire" the appliance in. Our oven is hard wired without a plug.
