QuestionHow to you raise the temperature in this wall oven? We had it installed yesterday. When I touch BAKE, it turns on to 350°. I need 425° Please help. Thank you!

- Answer I’ve attached an image from the installation manual for wall opening, but there are additional requirements. I believe your cutout height of 27 3/8” you can get away with barely, but no guarantee. I believe I had a similar dimension. Depth is as stated, and electrical conduit must be on the right, but I think the junction box can be lower if it’s within 8” of the right side as there’s less depth on the right side (from memory only if not at all way to the bottom). See photo for width from manual. Hope that helps.

QuestionCan you use tin foil in the bottom of this oven. seems they are making ovens now that you cannot use foil.

- Answer I do not think it's recommended. I have not needed to use anything on the bottom, it cleans up well.

QuestionI am considering this appliance. It seems short. is it adjustable to meet my counter tops? the height 36 " on the counter while the height of the oven is 28.75. Doesn't seem right.

QuestionI have an electric GE wall oven that is 11 years old that I'm thinking about replacing. I have never been able to use the broiler because it always sets the smoke alarm off. Will this be an issue if I purchase a new GE wall oven?

QuestionI would like to schedule a rep To come out to measure my space for a GE 27” wall oven. It appears that I will need to cut off a 1/2” or so to ensure it will fit. I won’t be available until July 15. Please respond.

- Answer We had a rep come out to measure and advise. It was a very good experience. We needed 1/2 inch cut out of the wood on one side, and he assured us that the installation team could do that. When the oven was installed, the team handled the wood sawing quite well.
