Q: QuestionI am looking to replace a 52 year old GE J D1201BR wall oven and would like to know if this a drop in replacement?

While both ovens fit in a 27" cabinet, the dimensions are not exactly the same, therefore cabinet modifications are necessary (JD12-01BR (Approx. Cutout) 24 3/4"W x 24 1/4"H x 22 1/2"D). JK3000DFWW (Approx. Cutout): 25-1/4"W x 28-1/8"H x 23-1/2"D). Q: QuestionAll 3 of our cut out dimensions will work but we need to confirm trim overlap for the height. Our cut out height is 28.25. Your trim height is 28.75. How much trim is on the bottom and the top?because we want to make sure the .5 gap is covered on the top.

• A:Answer Since I had never installed a wall oven before I had it installed, however in watching the installation, I found that I could have handled myself but would/could have used the extra set of hands in lifting the unti into the opened space. The wiring was not that difficult.

• A:Answer When we saw the add online it said free shipping then, we went into a Best Buy store to order our 27” built in wall oven & it came up with a shipping charge so, I showed them the ad & the Best Buy appliance manager waved the shipping charge so, I am sure that all U would need to do is to talk to the Dept. Manager & show them their ad that says free shipping & it would be taken care of for U. Best Buy works hard to maintain fair customer service satisfaction.

Q: QuestionHookup chargesDelivery says for this item basic hookup is included. Then under details it says installation service must be purchased for wall ovens to be plugged in?? Which is it. The Customer service line I called said there is a 135$ charge to install wall ovens. My old one needs to be disconnected and removed. How do I know what I need to pay for?

We found that this is a function error code that indicates an issue with the Cooling Fan. Disconnect all power to the oven for at least 30 seconds and then reconnect power.
