No installation isn't free. Depending on what your power source is that you are working with it is really pretty easy. It's heavy and takes two people to lift it into place but really, I did it myself and it took me about 45 minutes. I'm also in construction so I know what I'm doing. Even though, anyone with some mechanical abilities really could do it as long as you don't need to do anything different with your power source. This oven calls for 30 amps. My old one took 40 amps so I had to swap out breakers.
