Hi TJones - TWINCHILL™ EVAPORATORS (GNE29GSKSS) separate climates in the fresh food and freezer sections to help keep foods fresh. Separate evaporators prevent odor transfer and freezer burn. Dual evaporators maintain separate environments in both the fresh food and freezer compartments. Cold, dry air stays in the freezer compartment to prevent freezer burn, and more humid air stays in the fresh food section to keep fresh food fresh longer.
