“Is the washer supposed to pause during/after filling on delicate cycle? I just got this washer. I am trying to do a load of delicates. The washer states 39 minutes, then starts to slowly fill and reads: FILL. A short while later, I'll hear total silence and come upstairs to see the washer on PAUSE. It has not even kicked into the "wash" part of the cycle yet. Pressing the pause button once makes a beep but does nothing. Pressing it twice seems to reset the load, and I once again see 39 minutes, and then hear it filling again. This happens over and over. When I let it sit for about an hour (I thought), it never came out of PAUSE. Is this something about the way the delicate cycle works or should I call for a tech tomorrow?”

It does with mine. I just assumed it was normal.

The cycle sequence is: fill, gentle agitation, drain, slow spin, fill, gentle agitation to rinse, drain, and gentle spin.
