We purchased this washer in May 2015 for a home that we were not living in full time until September of 2016 so it was very lightly used (maybe one week every 4 months or so) until the last 4 months. There is a plastic lip that attaches the drum to the machine (see photos) and about 1/2 of that cheap plastic has frayed and snapped off. So the tub is no longer balanced during spin and I find gray plastic pieces in the wash. What a waste of over $500. Quality is not a priority any more. Back to the drawing board.

I love this washer! I bought this washer to replace my 2010 top loader washing machine that just wasn't getting my clothes clean. This washing machine does the job! My husband is in construction and I have 2 kids - with this washer I don't have to worry about our clothes not getting clean! I love that I have the option to choose my load size (amount of water), I can soak clothes now! With my front loader I couldn't do any of that and my clothes would come out still dirty - some of which looked like the water never hit them. Not with this washer! This washer is not energy sufficient but to be honest I think I am saving more because instead of 5 loads that take 1.5 - 2hrs per cycle , I have 2 loads of clothes in half the time!!!! (Anyone with a front loader knows how long it takes per cycle.) My husband was even commenting on how much better this washer works than the Samsung front loader we gave away. This washer is quiet which surprised me the first time using it! I don't have as many loads to wash now! holds a lot of clothes with one load! Awesome!! love it- love it- love it!

Disappointed with the energy saving / green technologies - washer won't agitate the load like the older models used to / won't fill up the rinse cycle to completely get the soap residue out ...and oh yes - opening the lid immediately stops everything ie you can't open up the machine and see how the wash load is progressing If you can't guess... am long tired of of the government directing how my washing machine is supposed to work

Real great washer one of the quietest washers i heave heard. Sometimes during a huge wash load if it gets out of balance it does not spin at full speed saving the washer. Very easy to cycle thru another spin cycle to get clothes dry.

For the most part I like the washer, just don't overload it or you will have to put it through the spin cycle a second time.

This washer is perfect for my household size, (2 humans,1 teenager, 2 rather messy dogs).It accommodates bulky bedding,large loads, and it cleans well. The washer has sufficient setting choices, and is easy to use. It can be a bit noisy,but it was economical and so far works well! The delivery was great! On time, courteous and accommodating driver and assistant!

This washer was cheaper than all but 1 other washer at best buy when I bought it. It handles large loads. It's quiet. It washes great and leaves clothes smelling great due to the fabric softner mode. It is easy to use and doesn't require a manual to use due to it's simplicity.

I recently purchased one of the new-fangled machines and was sorry disappointed when I had to wash my sons baseball clothes five or six times, and yet they were still not clean! This machine works like the old ones. It cleans the clothes - which is why we use washing machines isn't it? I am very pleased, although the older machines seemed to do the job a little better. Why does everything always have to be new-and-improved, and more expensive?! Sometimes newer is not always better.

We wanted to replace our old GE washer with a similar one (since ours lasted 10 years with minimal issues) so we bought the updated version and so far love it! It is quite, has a large capacity tub which is nice with two babies and my husband who's a mason! When we had to have our last washer worked on less than a year ago I didn't figure it'd have much life left so I asked the repair guy if he had any recommendations & he said that for what goes through our wash we should keep it simple, not high tech because the more high tech the more likely to have problems and even if it's a simple problem it costs more to repair just because there's so much more to it! Anyway...loving my new wash machine (still hate doing laundry though)!

Start with the delivery - the guys were EXCELLENT. Efficient and EARLY for the appointment time! Set up was smooth. The machine has been used 3-4 in the first day for a variety of washes - towels, sheets, delicates - no problems at all. Actually with the laundry room door closed, I didn't even hear it running. I'm expecting many good years from this product.

I needed a specific size washer to fit in a tight area. I wanted a GE to match a GE dryer I still had. So my choices were limited. It was down to 2. This one had less features than the other, but it had a stainless steel basket that I really liked. It also didn't have the auto fill feature which I didn't want. Some of the reviews said it was noisy. I don't find that to be the case. It washes smooth with less hard agitation than most washers which is easier on the clothes. I feel there are plenty of features for any laundry job. I'm very happy with this washer and would recommend it.

The main problem is that it automatically shuts off the water way too soon. I called about this and the one adjustment available only slightly increased the water level. If I have a large load, I have to manually pour in a large bucket of water for both the wash and rinse cycles. While I support water conservation, the low water level sometimes results in a soapy residue in the tub and on the clothes. Also, the rinse cycle is too short - maybe 4 minutes.

We love how much we can put into this washer. It's also very quiet and does not bother the baby when he's sleeping! Great washer for the price!

The machine looks nice and has as a large capacity. I haven't figured out yet if it's possible to adjust the agitation strength. I'm not thrilled at the moment with the extremely delicate agitation. I don't think my clothes are getting as clean as they should.

Ok so looks like we have a little problem with this washer. The Agitator has a 3-4 inch gap from bottom of wash tub. So I was doing a load of sheets and one of the sheets ended up filling that space under Agitator and removed the agitator from the bottom of wash tank. (see Pic.)

I'm very happy with my purchase. Other reviews complained about water levels and lack of rinsing. Read the instructions. The washer has many adjustable water levels depending on the size of your load. My guess is that some people are under-estimating how much they're putting in the washer. Be safe and go one level higher on the water than you think you need. The machine is in my basement but is quiet enough to be on the main level of a home.

Very good product, a little more than the basic, the cycles are good. It does a good job of cleaning. The price is also very good.

the dryer works great the washing machine is out of balance from time to time.

I had a Maytag..got rid of it after 3 years and several repairs. This washer has an agitator..I can't believe the difference in my laundry. Cleaner..softer..it is quiet and does laundry in half the time. It is a lot bigger than I thought..I got a king sized comforter in there..no problem The staff at Best Buy were great as were the installers.
