Hello Irena - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and I am happy to help you. The "Lock Controls" feature on this range is very beneficial and can be activated by pressing and holding the "+" and "-" pads at the same time for at least 3 seconds. When activated, this locks out the control so that pressing the pads does not activate the controls. I hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!
