If the hood is not vented outdoors, JXCF55 Charcoal Filter is required for recirculating installation and can be purchased online at www.geapplianceparts.com. This disposable charcoal filter helps remove smoke and odors. It is recommended that the charcoal filter be replaced every 6-12 months or if it is noticeably dirty or discolored.
