“How deep an upper cabinet will this fit? Our cabinets are 14" from wall to front instead of the typical 12" deep. Will this work for us with the front vent located where it is? It will be venting inside, not externally.”

Hi djts - This hood is designed for 12” cabinets and the Cabinet Spacer (JXS50SS sold separately) can be used when installing it in a 15” deep cabinet. For a 14" deep cabinet, this hood can be mounted forward without using the JXS50SS, but there will just be a 2” gap in the back. If this is done, you will want to protect the underside of the cabinet in the back. That can be as simple as a flat sheet of steel attached in that space. We hope this is helpful.
