Is this ventless? null

Hi there, this is a really good question. This vent hood is convertible, meaning that it can be installed to be externally vented to the outside or recirculating. When installed to recirculate, the unit circulates the air through a grease filter then through a charcoal filter to remove odors. The filtered air is then discharge back into the room. It can be used as a ventless if you purchase a sold separate charcoal filter.
