“The plastic film over the digital readout...... Does this film need to be removed???? It looks very filmy and I want to know if I can take it off????”

Hi- this is Lisa from GE. You should remove the plastic film. You can take a corner and just peel. Thanks for checking with us.

Yes, the plastic film is to protect it before it reaches the customer.
