  • QuestionHow many amps does this unit need? I know it is recommended on a dedicated circuit but I would like to know exactly how many amps? Thank you

That's a great question and we are happy to answer it for you. The average running amperage is 1.6 amps.   • QuestionIs this a wine cooler? I need a wine cooler. How can it be a fridge. Is it dual zone?

    • Answer You can set the temperature to 42 degrees on up. It is not dual zone. It is called a brverage_eone fridge bc it can accommodate both - wine bottles on the side and any other drinks you want (sodas, juice, beer, etc) standing up.

  • QuestionThe 15 watt bulb does not give off much light. Is it an incandescent bulb and could it be replaced by LED bulb that might provide more light and possibly less heat?

    • Answer Hi there Lee, Thank you so much for reaching out. Great question! The only bulb that should be used with this appliance is a 15 watt, 120 volt bulb. Anything higher that 15 watts could damage the electronic controls. We hope this helps. Best wishes. Mike@GEA

    • Answer Hi Annette - Thanks for viewing GE! This model does not have a forced air condenser so there is no toe kick grill vent or other vent. The natural draft condenser dissipates heat being pulled from the refrigerator through normal room air flow. There is no fan motor under the refrigerator to aid in removing heat from the condenser. This model is built-in or free-standing capable.     • Answer Hi vvv - Thanks for considering GE Model GVS04BQNSS! Yes, the unit will hold 109 cans or 31 bottles (up to 125 cans if a shelf is removed). You can set the desired temperature between 38ºF. and 61ºF. Red Wines are generally stored at 50-67F.
