Although this model is 18.56" wide, the window requirements are 24 ½" to 36" wide to accommodate the side curtains. Installation without the side curtains is not recommended, as it may affect the performance and stability of the unit. The window opening must be wide enough to accommodate both the chassis and the mounting system to ensure proper support and sealing.
