Hey I’m not sure if you’ll see this, but my 3 year same model washer is literally ruining my clothes now with random lint from somewhere! Did you ever fix yours?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Bonnie- Thanks for choosing our GE® GTW460ASJWW! We are happy to help. Undissolved detergent may leave white powdery residue on fabrics, which can be mistaken for lint. Choose the Deep Rinse option to ensure clothes are rinsed of soap residue. You may try the following: Add detergent and start the washer before adding clothes so that the detergent can dissolve completely and work effectively. Reduce the amount of detergent. Increase wash water temperature. Change to a liquid detergent. Overloading can prevent lint from being flushed away during the washing process as well as increase the effect of clothes rubbing against one another and generating lint. Loosely load clothes no higher than the top row of holes in the washer tub. See the following troubleshooting link for more tips: http://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17430 - Also, we suggest to periodically clean the washer with Tide Washing Machine Cleaner or similar product and follow the directions on the package. We hope these tips are helpful. Keep in touch at www.geappliances.com! SUE@GEA
