QuestionDo I need to buy an adoptor for the power cord or it is included for electric dryer. I think the electric vault in our apartment is 110 only

- Answer Hi Mila - The power cord is not included. The GE electric dryer requires a 208/240 volt, individual, properly grounded branch circuit with a 3 prong grounding type receptacle, protected by a 30 amp circuit breaker or time-delay fuse. It will not operate on 110V. We suggest GE Spacemaker® 120V 3.6 cu. ft. Capacity Portable Electric Dryer Model #: DSKP333ECWW. A 6' power cord is included. Thanks for choosing GE! Sue

QuestionDoes the dryer have an outlet where the washer can be plugged for easier installation? Only have a 240 outlet in closet.

QuestionIs there a way to turn the sound off I see the volume buttons but can’t figure out a way to change it.

- Answer Hi - In reviewing the specifications we show the following: Signal - when the light is on, the dryer will beep at the end of the cycle and every time you press a button on the control panel. To turn the signal off, press and hold the Damp Alert and Timed Dry buttons together for 3 seconds. For additional information see Page 7 of the owner's manual. We're glad you checked. Vikki@GEA
