“What kind of motor does it have? LG's have a direct drive with a 10 year warranty. I can't find any info on GE.”

Hello Judy - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and I am happy to help you. Our front load washers have a belt and pulley driven system with no transmission. We have a one year warranty for any manufacturing defects. I hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!
