Clicks, water flowing, gear sounds followed by pauses, and electric hum sounds are all part of the normal wash cycle. Decibel ratings are not available for washers. It's quieter than my former Maytag Performa washer, which is a definite improvement. No top load washer is going to be a "church mouse", having to agitate the wash load against natural gravity. It's a machine and machines naturally have noises from motors, pumps, lock and water, though the best is done to minimize them as much as possible.
