- Answer This washer does not have a lint trap. The drain system allows water to flow through the basket and out the bottom of the tub pulling lint, hair and small particles with the water. There is no maintenance required on this system, so there is not a way to access the pump for cleaning or maintenance. -Don@GEAppliances

QuestionHow do I lift the top part of the washer to allow me to clean the top of the basket?

- Answer While we're happy to help, we do not have information to share regarding the lifting of the top of the washer. To clean the wash basket, we recommend using the Bulky cycle. In an empty tub, pour one cup or 250 ml of liquid bleach or another washing machine cleaner into the basket. Choose the Bulky cycle and press Start. QuestionIs there a way to set 2nd Rinse on this Ge 4.5 cu ft washer? I set the option to Extra Rinse but it still only rinse for 1 time, then drain the water and move on to Spin step, it doesn't refill the water to do 2nd rinse. I also tried Deep Rinse, same thin
