“Have washed several loads with new washer. Softener is not going in. Cup is still full when the cycle completes. Don't see anything in the trouble shooting section of the manual that applies. Any ideas?”

Make sure the deep rinse is on. When you use softener, you have to have the deep rinse on.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Tried the Deep Rinse option. Softener still didnt go in. Tried to find the simplest washer possible. Everyone I know with Smart and/or high efficiency, hates them. This one is pretty good, but still not close to the 20 year old model I just got rid of. Also, really loud. Guess i just wont use the softener tray.
