Can't answer the question. I'm still trying to get a tech or someone to give me answer. I purchased my stove in February and have yet to use the oven. Maybe one day. Have 3 year warranty. Maybe I can get a response before then. Terrible service.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi - Thanks for reaching out to us regarding your GE gas range. We are sorry to hear the oven is not working and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. This range has an electronic ignition system and does not required lighting a pilot. The glo-bar in the oven will cycle on and off with the oven temperature. When it cycles on to heat, the gas valve opens and the gas is ignited. When the oven is at temperature, the gas valve closes there are no longer flames. You only use gas and see flames in the oven when the oven is actively heating. If the top burner are heating, we suggest viewing the following troubleshooting link for tips- GAS RANGE - OVEN DOES NOT HEAT, BUT THE BURNERS HEAT: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=38007 - A qualified GE service technician is required for an accurate diagnosis.
