    • Answer No it has 4 burners I personly don't want another smooth top because when the elements burn out it takes app i-2 weeks for a repair man to fix. with these stove i can buy the burners at lowes and repair myself plus it is always a pain to clean the glass top . I hope this helps.....

GE Appliances does not package the power cord with electric free-standing ranges since it is not possible to determine the type of facilities each consumer has available or what the local electrical codes require (ex. 3-wire vs 4-wire).   • QuestionHow long does it toake for the oven to preheat to 400F?

    • Answer Hi JasonNC - If the oven is installed at its proper voltage (240 volts for electric), ovens with a visible bottom bake element can take 5-10 minutes to preheat. There are factors that will affect the preheat time. Selected temperature (every 25 degree increment above 350 set temperature will add approximately 45-60 seconds to preheat time). Starting temperature of the oven. Room temperature. Number of racks in the oven (each additional rack will add approximately 30 seconds to preheat time). 208 volt installation will increase pre-heat time by 25%. We hope this is helpful.     • Answer Hi Mike- We test them to 50 lbs, but do not test to the "breaking point". We cannot provide a weight were it could fail/break. We hope this is helpful.
