• Hi Andi- Thanks for viewing GE! The oven is actually vented in the center of the backsplash area. This will cause that area of your cooktop to feel warm when in use. With this design, you should not be concerned with hot controls or melting knobs. You may want to pair with GE® 1.7 Cu. Ft.
