• A:Answer Hi, Good question! We appreciate your interest in this model and we'd be more than happy to help. In the event of a power failure, the oven is inoperable and no attempt should be made to operate it. However, the surface burners may be lit with a match. To do so hold a lit match near the ports beneath the surface burner cap, then slowly turn the knob to the LITE position. Once lit, surface burners will continue to operate normally. Q: QuestionThe numbers on the knobs. What level of heat do they represent. 1=simmer 2 = low boil. Or what?

For range's that do have numbers on the knobs, the numbers do not have a specific heat setting that go along with them. • A:Answer Hi there - Great question! To adjust the time, press the Set Clock pad once until the display is flashing. Use the + and - pads to adjust the time. Press Start to save the time. Q: QuestionWhat is the LP conversion kit supposed to look like, and where will it be located in the box?

Also, the conversion instructions are located in the wiring diagram (mini-manual) and are included with the LP kit attached to the appliance near the pressure regulator. Q: QuestionI purchased GE JGBS66REKS, THE ELECTRICAL CORD doesn't reach the power outlet. The attached cord is about 4 ft long and the outlet is 6 ft away from back of the stove. I live in a hi rise building and can't move outlet. Is there a fix for this problem?
