“On the GE site it says the cooktop is gray(dark), but on this site it says it is black, which is correct? We were looking at Samsung Stainless Steel ranges but the cooktops are all black and I would prefer gray.”

• The model you wrote about has been discontinued this model I am asking about is still in production and according to GE.Com the cooktop is edge to edge gray. Best Buy lists it as black and the model in the store is gray. That is why I was asking.

• The grey top was on another model JGB660SEJSS which is now out of production by GE. I agree - I liked the grey option, too, but didn't get it soon enough... :(
