I think the oven door the light automatically comes on when you open the door and there is no option to keep the light off. I'm disappointed I can't turn my volume up also. It's only an option for "On" and "off". My above the Range GE Microwave is loud so I just use the "Timer" option on the Microwave and I can hear it. Don't have to use the Microwave, just the Timer function. Also, I have Alexa. I tell Alexa to "Set a timer for." and I can hear that real good.
