“When I wipe to clean the control panel: it activates various commends. To clean the control panel (when cooking) I have to shut off the glass top, clean, and restart. Very disruptive. Is there another option?”

There's a button that says LOCK CONTROLS, press and hold that for 3 seconds and it locks the controls so you can clean, press and hold it again for 3 seconds to unlock it.

Before starting to clean the control panel, use the lock function. Also great if you have above range microwave or storage and you keep bumping the controls.

Hi SAtch - Lock Controls option locks out the control so that pressing the pads does not activate the controls. When cleaning, simply press and hold the Lock Controls pad for three seconds to lock or unlock the control (Cancel/Off is always active, even when the control is locked.) We hope this is helpful. There’s a button that locks all the controls. If you hold it down for three seconds it’s no longer a problem.
