I can answer part of the question. The bottom drawer really is a storage drawer. It is not for warming. The broiling element is exposed. Hope that helps.

This design places the bake element under the floor of the oven were it is concealed under a non-removable porcelain enameled oven floor. This eliminates hard-to-reach areas that collect food and spills and makes the oven easier to clean. The Broil Hi-Lo pad gives you the capability of reducing the oven temperature during the broil function. The broil element is visible. Hi Broil: Functions at 550 degrees Fahrenheit. It gives a quicker broiling to sear in natural food juices. Recommended for thinner cuts of meat and/or foods you prefer less done on the interior. Lo Broil: Functions at 450 degrees Fahrenheit. It gives a slower broiling to ensure doneness without drying out the food. Recommended for thicker cuts of meat and/or foods you prefer cooked all the way through. The range has 1 bake element and 1 broil element. True European Convection with Precise Air includes a third heating element and a reversing fan that provides enhanced heat and air circulation (rear wall).
