Regarding the humming noise, it is normal to hear a slight humming noise when the burners are cycling on and off. If you believe the noise you are hearing is not a normal humming noise, you can reach out to GE Consumer Service at 1-800-432-2737 and take advantage of your limited one-year warranty.
