Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi MyMylynn - The griddle has grease troughs on each end to contain any grease. We encourage you to view the Owner's Manual at the following link for cleaning recommendations for the various parts of your range: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-2000316-1.pdf - Porcelain enamel finishes are sturdy but are breakable if misused. Acidic spills such as fruit juice, marinades, tomato sauce and vinegar should not be allowed to remain on the porcelain surface. Use soap and water to clean the porcelain surface (cooktop). The porcelain enamel surface should be able to withstand moderate cleaning with cleansing powders. However, since there is a wide variety of cleaning products available, we recommend following the guidelines of the manufacturers of these cleaning products. For example, some non-scratch products are approved for cleaning enamel surfaces while most steel wool pads are not recommended. If the range is hot, use a dry paper towel or cloth to wipe up any acidic spills. When the surface has cooled, wash with soapy water, rinse and polish dry. On gas ranges, non-abrasive cleaner works great on scorched areas around oven vent. Keep in touch! Sue
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Although I do not intend to use the grill, I would assume that you would clean it like a cast iron pan. Also, the greases should be disposed of like all other greases . I personally use a can of some sort such as a coffee can.
