“Have there been any reported issues with the control panel being on top of the unit vs front? Other models with similarly placed controls have reported malfunction of the panel due to the high heat of the front burners”

HI, I am buying this range because the controls are ON the top... I currently have an electric samsung that I paid 1500 for, and when you lean on the unit to stir a back pot it automatically turns on front burners.... I reported this to samsung and they would do nothing for me.. I think its dangerous and lived with it, but now that I am my home into a beach rental, I have to dispose of this 3 year old unit as it is dangerous for unknowing renter to use.... oh well... my loss and shame on you samsung.
