The side to side width is 30 inches. The depth with the door open 90 degrees is 47.875 inches.

Our 30" free standing ranges are designed to always fit into a 30-inch wide opening, as Quick Specs indicates at the following link: http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=jb255_gj_c2.pdf - Manufacturing variation keeps us from stating an exact dimension but it is possible for the overall width to be slightly less than 30". It will never be greater than 30”. Also, for venting, you may want to pair with GE® 1.6 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave Oven with Recirculating Venting JNM3161MFSA (Silver/Black) equipped with cooktop lighting and two-speed, 300-CFM venting system to remove smoke, steam and odors from the kitchen air.
