Q: QuestionI need a dehumidifier I can leave unattended for extended periods. I need one that can run a few hours, stop a few hours and restart the cycle. I see this talks about a timer, does that mean it meets my need?

• A:Answer We're happy to help! Our dehumidifiers are designed to run until your desired humidity level is reached or the bucket is full, whichever comes first. This model does offer a Timer function. The unit can be set to turn on or off after a set amount of time. If the unit is ON, it can be set to turn off after a set number of hours. By the same token, if it is OFF, it can be programmed to come on in a certain number of hours. The Timer feature does not allow you to create an on/off schedule; it is one-time programming. -Vikki@GEAppliances

• A:Answer There is not a specific height that this dehumidifier needs to be from the drain. All you need to ensure is that the hose is pointed downwards towards the drain. This will allow gravity to remove the collected water.
