Hi Rooney- We are not aware of issues with roasting vegetables in our gas ovens. After baking, you could choose Broil Hi/Lo to finish or add crispness. Broil Hi uses intense heat from the upper burner and Broil Lo uses less intense heat from the upper burner. Try broiling foods that you would normally grill. Adjust rack positions to adjust the intensity of the heat to the food (vegetables). Also, the lower oven with Convection Bake and Convection Roast use air circulation to improve performance. So you have many options to determine what method works best for you. Thanks for considering GE! SUE@GEA
