“Does the depth spec include the vent measurement? Can the dryer go on the left of the washer? The other side is only about 29" clearance from the wall to the door trim. I'm wondering if that is doable or if the dryer has to be on the right side?”

Hi Katie, thanks for reaching out to us! We truly appreciate you considering this fantastic electric dryer and matching top-load washer for your home and are happy to answer these questions for you. The overall depth measurement of 30.5" does account for the vent exhaust opening on the rear of the dryer. You can install the dryer to the left of the washer to better accommodate your installation space. Though the dryer comes factory installed with a right-hand door swing ("hinges" on right), the door swing and hardware can quickly be reversed so that the door opens in the opposite direction.
