“. I noticed if I take my wash out before the cycle is finished, and power off the machine the minutes remaining from when I took the wash out early still remains on the machine and I can't clear it. How do I clear this?? Thank you”

Hi toby1 - Thanks for choosing GE and welcome to the family! On GE Dryer Model # DGFD45ESSMWW, pressing Power button (not Start/Pause) turns off the dryer/display. We suggest viewing page 6 of the Use and Care Manual for reference: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-90585.PDF - If pressing Power does not turn off the display, unplug the unit for 30 seconds or so to reset the electronics.
