Mine doesn’t buzz. And when it is finished it plays a little tune. I think I’d get some one to look at it

While it does have HE Sensor Dry, this feature will not cause a loud buzzing sound. The Sensor Dry Plus sensors are located in the front dryer wall. An electronic sensor board with moisture-sensing "fingers" actually touches the clothes every second to determine their moisture content. The sensing system terminates the dry cycle when the clothes have reached approximately 2% moisture retention. The dryer has an alert that sounds to let you know that the cycle is complete. Press "Volume" on the control panel to select low, medium or high volume, or to turn the beeper off. For reference, see page 8 of the Use and Care Guide at this link: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-90585.PDF - We hope this is helpful. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue
