- Answer The GAS dryer takes 110-120 volt power and the Electric variant requires 240 volt.

QuestionMy GFD55GSSNWW gas dryer will not get very hot and it takes up to 2 hours for things to dry. My vent stack was just cleaned, so that is not it. I've had this for two weeks with the same problem. It is set on the high dry level, eco is not on..

- Answer I have exactly the same problem and looking for answers. I have a second gas dryer a whirlpool and maaaan it’s getting both hot and FAST. Like everything’s dry in 40 minutes while the GE is taking over an hour.
