This is a very evasive answer from GE on whether BPA free materials are in the water heating and delivery part of this unit.

The safety of materials and chemicals used in all of our GE Appliances is monitored through our hazardous substances management process. We have voluntarily decided to identify, reduce and eliminate as much as possible any materials of concern from our products and parts, even when regulation doesn't require it.
