A:AnswerGE Appliances complies with all applicable federal and state chemical content and labeling laws. One such law is California Proposition 65, enacted by California in 1986 (Prop 65). This state law requires companies to provide a warning for thousands of consumer products, foods, prescription drugs, alcoholic beverages, enclosed parking facilities, amusement parks, furniture, and other everyday items. For more than a decade, we have complied with the Prop 65 requirements by providing a warning in the owner's manual. A few years ago, California updated its Prop 65 regulations to require, for products produced on or after August 30, 2018, new on-product warning labels (instead of owner's manual warnings). We, and all other appliance manufacturers, will use on-product warning labels to comply with this state law. Starting in early August 2018, we began adding new labels to our products to comply with the new Prop 65 requirements.
We comply with all federal, state and international requirements regarding hazardous substances and meet those standards. We also comply with federal and state chemical labeling laws, like California Proposition 65. The presence of a Proposition 65 warning does not necessarily mean the product is unsafe or poses a health risk. Over 800 chemicals are on this list, including wood dust, nickel (found in stainless steel), nicotine, and alcohol. Additionally, even inaccessible parts can create a requirement to include the warning. We can understand our customers concerns; however, we do not provide detailed information about what causes the Prop 65 warning to apply.
GE Appliances evaluates the safety of materials and chemicals used in GE brand appliances through our hazardous substances management process. We have voluntarily decided to identify, reduce and eliminate to the extent possible materials of concern from our appliance products and parts, even when not required by regulation.
We do not comment specifically on product content, which is confidential, however our processes help ensure that all GE Appliance products meet applicable hazardous substances requirements and our own product safety and environmental standards.

A:AnswerThe toaster oven will need to be placed on a level and stable surface where oven has at least 4" (10cm) of clearance on all sides of the unit, and at least 8" (20cm) of clear space above.
A:AnswerI don't have 8" either. They recommend that amount for full safety and liability purposes. 4" might be a little on the low end. Pull it out when in use and tuck it away when you're done.
A:AnswerHi - Thank you for reaching out to us. There is no BPA used in the internal components including the air fry basket, baking rack or pan. We do hope you choose GE for your home. Vikki@GEA

A:AnswerNo, this oven is not wide enough for a 14” pizza. However, it can air fry your favorite fried food, toast 6 bagel halves, roast an 8 lb. chicken, or bake a 12" pizza, all with room to spare.
