QuestionI have a ceiling fan that is controlled by 2 light switches. One for the Lamp and the other for the ceiling fan. Do I need to have a special switch or can I just us the lightbulbs and keep the light switch on and then can control the ceiling fan manually?

- Answer You can remotely control the bulbs, as long as you leave the light switch on all the time. (No special switch needed). Use the app to operate the bulbs, or you can use voice control, if you've linked your account with Alexa or Google Home.

- Answer Hi there thanks for reaching out to us. Our C by GE Direct connect Light bulbs work seamlessly with Alexa as they do not require you to need a hub they just connect directly and should be discoverable and controlled within the Alexa app via voice as well.

QuestionThese bulbs are soft white so I'm assuming they cannot be daylight bulbs as well correct? I want to make all lights connect with google home, but need them to be daylight.

- Answer Hi SmartHomeGuy, thanks for reaching out to us. The Soft White bulbs are only dimmable. However, the tunable white C by GE bulbs allow for a full customization between 2000k to 7000k which means daylight to candlelight. - Answer You need to download C by GE app on your phone. The app will walk you thru the setup and you can choose to link with your Google home devices (and Alexa), or control thru the app itself.
