Hi HHH - JX10DC53SS replaces JXDC72 for hood models JVW5301 and JVW5361. This model reduces minimum distance required from cooktop to base of hood (30") to reach 10' ceilings. JXDC72SS/ES – 9(ft.) Ceiling Duct Cover Kit; JX10DC53SS/ES/TS – 10(ft.) Ceiling Duct Cover Kit. For 30" distance from counter to hood: Below 8'-4" ceiling height – no duct cover required. 8'-4" – 9'-6" ceiling height – use JXDC72SS/ES. Above 9'-7" ceiling height – use JX10DC53SS/ES/TS.
