“Can the racks be removed? Many models state that the racks can be removed. It seems to me you would have to remove them to use the microwave as the racks are chrome. Is that the case with this oven? Thank you!”

Hello Jackie Oh - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and I am happy to help you. Yes, the oven shelves in this microwave can be removed and are recommended to be removed when not in use. For two-level baking or fast baking, we recommend using both shelves. Please follow the Owner's Manual instructions as to when you can and should use the shelves. I hope this helps!
