I saw that there was a trim kit but it cost so much I decided to use the one of the old microwave. I had to do a little adapting but it's fine. If you are not a handy-person go ahead and buy one. GE should have the number for the kit. You can get it through Best buy, too.

6083599 JX7227DLWW Above are the Best Buy SKU and Model Number for the GE Trim Kit for the GE PEB7227dLWW microwave. This is what I ordered and it fit the microwave and my cabinet space perfectly. Hope this helps,

This is the trim kit that is designed for that microwave - Model: JX7230DLWW ... it fits beautifully and makes for a very nice install.
