• Screw GE - they will always answer that the trim kit is model specific and you have to buy their new kit. Buy a new trim kit off of ebay for just a little over $100. It is ridiculous that the older trim kits do not fit the new ones. That is why our landfills are full.

• Yes, this is the appropriate and compatible replacement for the PEB7227ANDD series microwaves. Providing you used the correct kits, (such as the JX7227SLSS or the JX7230SLSS) for the original model, they are compatible as well. -Vikki@GEAppliances
