Hi - Thanks for reaching out to us. If the non-dispenser door is open, the dispenser will not function. If you're actively using the dispenser and the non-dispenser door is opened, the dispenser will stop functioning. We appreciate you checking with us. Kind regards - Vikki@GEAppliances
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just did some test runs. If the non-dispenser door is open and you hit autofill, it says 'error', and no water comes out. If you start with the non-dispenser door closed and hit autofill, water is dispensed until you open the non-dispenser door. If you then close the open door, you get the 'error' message again. So I think your answer is 'no'.
