Q: QuestionIts freesing all my food in the fridge... how do i control temp..?

• A:Answer We found that this generally means you have too many things stacked in front of that vent that runs along the back, near the top shelf. If that can't get good air flow, the compressors run constantly and freeze things.

Q: QuestionMy bottom freezer draw within the last 2 days is forming frost ice on items which has never happened since I've purchased the item a year ago. Looking at the set temp. setting on the outside of the door it Is currently reading -1F. Thank you. Customer

• A:Answer We found that the rubber seal around the freezer door came loose often and if it is not seated right, it causes the freezer to work overtime and that's when we see frost form on the drawers. Looks at that rubber seal all the way around and make sure it is not loose.

Q: QuestionIs there any type of "governor" or stop we can put on the upper door? We have limited space and the door handle hits the counter, so I need something that will prevent it from opening that far.

Q: QuestionIs this refrigerator really a manual defrost? The GE comparison site shows this refrigerator to have Frost Guard which is the same thing it shows for the other counter depth models. So is this a typo? May need to change my order before delivery.

• A:Answer Hi KKHouston- Model PYE22KSKSS is Frost-Free with Frost Guard. Frost Guard (Adaptive Defrost) means that the refrigerator will only defrost as needed. It accounts for door openings and usage to determine when it is necessary to defrost and how long the defrost cycle needs to run. If the refrigerator is not being frequently used (ex. family on vacation), it will not defrost as often. Q: QuestionDoes anyone else hear a somewhat higher-pitch sound while the fridge is on but closed? It stops as soon as I open one of the doors, but as soon as I close the door, it sounds like a motor spinning up until it reaches that same, constant-pitched sound.

This happens when the refrigerator is first plugged in, when the doors are opened frequently or when a large amount of food is added to the refrigerator or freezer compartments. The fans are helping to maintain the correct temperatures. The fans change speeds in order to provide optimal cooling and energy savings. Q: QuestionI have a tight space for this. Will I be able to open the long bottom fridge drawer with the two french doors open only straight out? Also, when the doors open, do you need more than 36" for the hinge to operate?
