  • QuestionHi, just got my fridge this morning.... how long will it be before I can expect to see ice being made?

    • Answer The icemaker must sense a temperature of approximately 15°f before filling the first time. Depending on the food load and door openings, it may be 10-12 hours before the first batch of ice is made. We recommend allowing 24 hours for the temperatures to stabilize. -Vikki@GEAppliances
