A:AnswerNo, the ice maker is in the left refrigerator door only. Ice chips are on the small size and the container is on the smallish size. Manual says the ice maker can make 100 chips a day.
I suppose if you wanted to make additional ice cubes in the freezer section you could do it old school with ice trays. ;)

A:AnswerHi Nikki - The height of the dispenser may vary due to the recessed part of the ice and water dispenser. The approximate dispenser height on French Door refrigerators is 11" tall from the bottom tray to the dispense point. It can accommodate many mugs, glassware, baby bottles, and sport and water bottles. Thanks for viewing GE Profile! Sue
A:AnswerHi PTB1 - Thanks for considering GE Profile Series 27.9 Cu. Ft. 4-Door French Door Refrigerator with Door In Door
Model PVD28BYNFS! This model is not available without the external dispenser. We also offer GE® ENERGY STAR® 27.0 Cu. Ft. French-Door Refrigerator GNE27JSMSS. This model has an internal water dispenser and factory-installed icemaker with water filtration. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue
A:AnswerHi Buddy - Thanks for considering GE Profile Model PVD28BYNFS! Space Saving Icemaker produces approximately 3.6 lbs. per day. The ice bucket stores 3.8 lbs. of ice that can be dispensed through dispenser on the door or by removing the ice bucket from the door. Also, bottom freezer and French door refrigerators have a water reservoir coil in the fresh food section that holds 12 - 24 oz. of water. The water is chilled and stored until it is needed. Since the reservoir is in the fresh food section, the water will not be ice-cold. After the 12 - 24 oz. of cold water is dispensed, any additional water dispensed will not be chilled until the water in the coil tubing has had time to chill again. We hope this is helpful. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue
A:AnswerThis refrigerator should always stay upright. We do not recommend transporting it on it's side. If you'd like, you can view more on this on page 20 of the manual on the product page. Thanks for checking with us!
A:AnswerMost refrigerator models manufactured since 2001 have a NeverClean™ Condenser that does not require cleaning. The NeverClean condenser coils are in a location that does not require them to be cleaned.

A:AnswerHi there - The way the dispenser recess light works on this model is that a proximity sensor detects when a user is approaching the refrigerator and the light comes on. If you do not like this feature you can turn it off in the Smart HQ APP under lighting preferences. The control on the front of the unit also has a light button, this will override the proximity sensor and leave the light on permanently until the user pushes it again to turn it back off (which reactivates the proximity sensor). We hope this information is helpful. Thanks for being part of the Profile family. Best wishes! -Don@GEA
