- Answer No, this hood must use an 8” Round Duct. A reducer cannot be used. QuestionCan this hood be locked into a lower speed so not over 400 CFM? That is the max for the state of Minnesota without having to add heated make-up air.

- Answer No, this model UVW7301SWSS is not able to be installed with the CFMs reduced below 420 CFM. We recommend checking out model UVW9301SLSS which features a blower that is adjustable downward to either 380 or 290 maximum CFM to accommodate different installation needs.
